Now and then I have the opportunity to call somebody famous and do a phone interview. Here’s the recordings from some of them:

Note: In some of these interviews the audio quality is not the best and my voice sounds a bit loud at times. Most of these were recorded on a cheap recorder while I talked through my cordless phone, I will try to get better recording equipment to improve future calls as well as write a list of questions or topics to the conversations are a little bit more interesting. Hope you enjoy them anyway.

My Interview with Pat Fleet – July 6, 2015

Pat is one of the most famous voices heard on the telephone network. Famous for the AT&T Long Distance Jingle and numerous intercept messages and calling feature announcements. On July 6, 2015 Pat was kind enough to take some  time out of her day so I could interview her.

My Interview with Johanne Daniels -July 4, 2015

While she no longer does phone recordings, Johanne was the voice of many number change announcements for various phone companies and was the voice for time of day service on the west coast for Pacific Bell Telephone Company. Because of union work polices Johanne could not do her “phone voice” for me in this interview, but I thought I’d share it as it was really cool to talk to her. Thanks Johanne for taking the time to answer my call.
